Music

I teamed up with some fantastic musicians from 3 different corners of Europe (London, Belgium, Poland) to invite the third actor to play. Magical landscapes of emotions by Chris Wood, punctuated & grimy sounds of an underground club by Felix De Bousies and finally the glimpses of split personalities like a storm in a glass by Ammurion.

|Chris Wood|

Sound artist and designer who has worked via installations, radio, soundscapes, theatre, animation, video art and mobile apps. He is interested in the description and re-contextualisation of spaces through audio and narrative. examples of work can be found at: www.wordthecat.com

|Ammurion|

Polish composer and multi-instrumentalist. He experiments with a range of genres- from voluptuous classical sounds to sophisticated minimal whispers. Ammurion’s work has been featured in short films, theatre productions, TV. www.ammurion.com

|Felix De Bousies|

London-based sound sculptor with a current interest in harvesting sounds from circuit-bent machines and controlling sonic spatialization through joysticks and brain sensors. Recent commissions include composing healing music for a yogic gathering, making a multichannel soundscape for a Fritz Lang-inspired performance in a crypt and writing farmy hip-hop for a wacky fashion designer. Last December I met Jacek Kopciński- chief editor of Pismo Teatr- for a coffee in his office at ulica Kozia in Warsaw. We talked and ended up having a green tea rather than the proverbial coffee. All that in an intimidating presence of all magnificently figured K.G. casting an elated shadow on anybody who’d come into a close proximity with the blackness of her dress (very dramatic affair indeed). Thank god she was paperly framed and rather disinterested in inter-human engagement- wooden piece of a poster.

February issue of Teatr and there is a modest mention of “Piosenki o wierze i poświęceniu’. Blacked up Ferenc on the front cover- could I have asked for a better framing?
